A resolution recommending the resignation of Fumiko Kinoshita, a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly who caused a traffic accident due to unlicensed driving, was passed.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly held the first plenary session after the election on the 4th of this month on the 23rd, and the elected members attended.



Then, a resolution recommending the resignation of Fumiko Kinoshita, who was found to have had a traffic accident while driving without a license during the election period, was passed with the approval of all the members who attended.



Representative Kinoshita was absent due to poor physical condition.



The resolution states, "It is absolutely unacceptable to seriously undermine the trust of the citizens of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly and to significantly damage their dignity and authority.



Representative Kinoshita ran for the Itabashi constituency and was elected by the official approval of Tomin First no Kai, but he was expelled due to a problem.



On the other hand, at the main meeting on the 23rd, Mr. Shigeki Miyake of the Liberal Democratic Party was elected as the new chairman in Setagaya Ward, and Mr. Hirotaka Motohashi of the Tomin First no Kai was elected as the vice-chairman.
