Is he Iman al-Bahr Darwish? An official response to Mutreb's statements: "He is an artist outside logic."

The General Federation of Technical Syndicates in Egypt issued a statement expressing its condemnation and regret over the statements of one of the singers, who described him as having his place in the world of singing, expressing his rejection of these "unacceptable and unreasonable" statements.

The statement did not specify the name of the intended singer, but all opinions and comments indicated that what was meant was the Egyptian artist Iman al-Bahr Darwish, and the great uproar caused by his statements regarding the Renaissance Dam crisis.

The statement, posted at the top of the official Syndicate’s official page on Facebook, stated: “The masses of Egyptian artists express their condemnation, regret and complete rejection of the unacceptable, unreasonable and irresponsible statements, interpretations and words of an artist who, unfortunately, has his place in the world of singing, those statements he made to us. At a time when all the soft forces are uniting and rallying around the unprecedented achievements of the rising Egyptian state.

The statement added that the statements confirm "that this artist is walking outside the logic, the vision and the goals that we are all working to achieve, and he has achieved them over the years unless they have been achieved over the decades."

He continued, “The masses of Egyptian artists confirm that the national security file is a red line, and only those who are entrusted with specialists should publish or tamper with its concepts and the decisions of the national Egyptian state regarding it.

The masses of Egyptian artists also confirm that they are moving forward in supporting all decisions, development goals and national projects with which the Egyptian state is treading for a better tomorrow for all Egyptians.
