Jean-Yves Lafesse, famous for his hidden cameras, died Thursday at the age of 64.

The comedian made listeners to Europe 1 laugh in the 1980s and 1990s with a series of telephone hoaxes.

It is a figure of humor that is disappearing.

Jean-Yves Lafesse, known to generations of French people for his famous hidden cameras, died Thursday at the age of 64 from Charcot's disease.

The comedian was also a radio man, who began his career in the early 1980s, at the time of free radio, with Carbone 14 and then Radio Nova. 

Then he joined Europe 1 in 1985, where he made many listeners laugh with his phone hoaxes.
