Yamagata Prefecture announced on the 22nd that it was confirmed that four new people were infected with the new coronavirus.

This brings the total number of infected people in Yamagata Prefecture to 2091.

According to the prefecture, a virus with a mutation of "L452R" was found in one infected person in Yamagata City, but it was confirmed as a "delta strain" of the mutant virus confirmed in India.
