“Over the past day, July 21, 106 forest fires have been liquidated in Russia on an area of 103 612 hectares,” RIA Novosti quoted the message as saying.
It is noted that the most difficult situation with fires is observed in Yakutia, where 108 fires were recorded on the lands of the forest fund on an area of 666,056 hectares.
Earlier it became known that artificial rains were caused over three regions of Yakutia, where forests are burning.
