At 20:40 on July 21, the fast-moving fire truck was suddenly blocked by a large area of stagnant water. The fire commanders used boats to continue driving for 5 kilometers to the hospital.
As of 16:30 on July 22, Jiangsu Nanjing Fire rescued a total of 224 people.
