I had

two doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine

, but the surprise came:

infected by the Delta variant

a month after the second dose.

Chiara Fossi

, a 48-year-old teacher, admits that the last month has been very hard.

Quarantined, with bothersome symptoms,

locked up at home with her husband and their 14 and 11-year-old children

.

They were also infected, although they were not vaccinated.

For Chiara the situation is paradoxical: "According to the application,

since I received the second vaccine I have the European Union digital covid certificate

, which is used to travel freely. My quarantine and my positive tests have never been registered," she points out.

"I have isolated myself, but

a person with less civic sense could have gone wherever they wanted with the Covid certificate

. What is its true value if it is not updated when a vaccinated person is infected?"

The other problem Chiara has encountered has been

unclear guidelines

.

"The pediatrician of my 11-year-old daughter had told me that none of us could break the quarantine until the four of us gave negative in the test, but the negative of my son did not arrive until 21 days because they had not done a test yet", account.

"It is essential that we all get vaccinated, also so that our children can safely return to school in September.

If we don't all get vaccinated, whoever is vaccinated will never be fully protected

."
