Today (21st), which is overlapping, an extreme heat wave will prevail.

While heat wave warnings have been issued across the country, more heat wave warning areas have been issued in the western regions.

Today, the daytime temperature in Seoul soars to 36 degrees, which is expected to record the highest this year, but the sweltering heat will continue for a while.

This is because the high pressure in the North Pacific and the Tibetan high pressure meet to create a heat dome phenomenon, which is similar to the extreme heatwave in 2018.

As the heat is expected to continue this year, it is important to take good care of your health.

Currently, the skies across the country are clear and there are occasional clouds.

Unlike usual, there is no forecast of cool showers today, so it looks like it will be sunny all day, and the sun is so strong that the UV index will soar to a very high level.

The daytime temperature will rise to 36 degrees in Seoul, 36 degrees in Daejeon, and 35 degrees in Cheongju, in general, the western part will rise above 35 degrees.

For the time being, there will be no rain forecast for the time being, and the sweltering heat will continue throughout the day and night with clear skies.
