This year, Typhoon No. 6 "Fireworks" is slowly moving towards Zhejiang, China. The coast of Fujian is gradually approaching, and the eastern and southern waters of China are affected by typhoons. On the 21st, the National Ocean Forecasting Station upgraded the wave warning level of "fireworks" to orange.

Affected by the typhoon "Chapaka", the bridge channel of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge was temporarily closed.

  The center of Typhoon No. 6 this year, "Fireworks", was located on the Northwest Pacific Ocean about 640 kilometers east of Yilan County, Taiwan Province, at 5 o'clock on the 21st.

At present, the "fireworks" are gradually approaching the coast of Zhejiang and Fujian, China, and are expected to gradually increase in intensity. They will move back and forth into the southeastern part of the East China Sea on the evening of the 23rd, and then turn to the northwest, or land on the coast of Zhejiang and Fujian on the 25th.

  The National Ocean Forecast Station predicts that due to the influence of the typhoon "fireworks", it is expected that from noon on the 21st to noon on the 22nd, there will be swell waves of 6 to 9 meters in the southeast of the East China Sea to the swelling area, the southwest of the East China Sea, the sea near the Diaoyu Islands, and Taiwan There will be huge waves of 4 to 6 meters in the East Ocean, and there will be medium to large waves of 2 to 3.5 meters in the coastal waters of northern Zhejiang and Fujian.

  The center of Typhoon Chapaka made landfall on the coast of Jiangcheng District, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province at around 21:50 on the 20th. It weakened to tropical storm level on the morning of the 21st.

In response to "Chapaca", the National Ocean Forecasting Station issued a blue wave warning on the 21st.

Affected by this, it is expected that from noon on the 21st to noon on the 22nd, a medium to large wave of 2 to 3.5 meters will appear in the northwestern part of the South China Sea, and a medium to large wave of 1.5 to 2.5 meters will appear in the coastal waters of western Guangdong.

  In terms of storm surge, affected by the typhoon "Chapaka", from the night of the 19th to the morning of the 21st, a 30 cm to 100 cm increase in storm water occurred along the coast from Zhuhai, Guangdong to Maoming.

The impact of "Chapaca" on the above-mentioned coastal storm surges is gradually reduced, but the Leizhou Peninsula and the coast of Guangxi are currently in the astronomical tide period, and the affected areas still need to be guarded.
