The restrictions put in place to fight the spread of the coronavirus continue to crystallize very strong opposition in Martinique.
The city of Fort-de-France experienced violence and looting on Sunday evening, after a rally organized on Saturday by antivax which had already degenerated, we learned from police sources.
The regional prefect Stanislas Cazelles condemned this violence, indicating that "investigations will be carried out to arrest the alleged thugs and punish this unacceptable behavior".
Seven arrests on Saturday night
