In Shimane Prefecture, it was announced that a total of 17 people living in Matsue City and Yasugi City were newly infected with the new coronavirus.

It is the first time in two months since May 20 that the number of confirmed infections in Shimane Prefecture has been double-digit.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the prefecture to 608.
