Prime Minister Jean Castex will be the guest of TF1's 1 p.m. newspaper on Wednesday, before the start of the examination by the National Assembly of the bill integrating the vaccination obligation of caregivers and extending the health pass, announced Monday the chain.

The head of government will be questioned at the end of a defense council convened by President Emmanuel Macron on the theme of the Covid-19 health crisis.

An interview before extending the health pass

While the contamination figures are soaring again under the effect of the Delta variant of the coronavirus, this will be the first televised interview with Jean Castex since the 8 p.m. of France 2 on May 11.

The use of the health pass must be extended from Wednesday, without waiting for the law which could be definitively voted on Friday, at the entrance of all places of leisure and culture bringing together more than 50 people.

The health pass must then be extended in early August to restaurants, cafes, shopping centers, medical establishments and long-distance transport.
