At noon on the 18th, an electric bicycle in normal driving on Yuhuangshan Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou City suddenly exploded, and a father and daughter in the car were severely burned.
It is understood that the burned electric car driver Wei Shunli was 42 years old, and his daughter Wei Jiaqi was 8 years old.
After the accident, Wei Shunli was sent to the Second Hospital of Zhejiang University for treatment, and Wei Jiaqi was sent to the Children's Hospital of Zhejiang University.

The hospital opened the green channel for treatment in SICU (Surgical Intensive Care Unit) as soon as possible, and performed tracheotomy and wounds in time according to his condition. Treatment, Wei Jiaqi’s current third-degree burn area is 95%, accompanied by shock, acute respiratory distress syndrome, respiratory tract burns, aspiration pneumonia, etc., and the condition is extremely critical. Now with the support of a ventilator, he is anti-shock, anti-infection, and maintaining water and electrolyte levels. The environment is stable and the supportive treatment of important organ functions and other related treatments, there are still shocks, infections and wound repairs that need to pass, and the hospital stated that it will do its best to treat them.
It is reported that after the accident, Wei Shunli's wife asked the society for help through online fundraising channels, and all parties offered help.
