Mikhail Saakashvili is a politician whose biography is so rich in events and sharp turns, ups and downs that it is difficult to put a figure next to him, comparable in gifts and blows of fate.

We must give him his due - he is the author of a very successful administrative reform.

As president of Georgia, he managed to carry out a comprehensive program of transforming the entire system of government in the country: here both the unfolding construction and radical changes in the work of the police, which stopped uncontrollably taking bribes and became a real force of law and order. Saakashvili has more than halved the number of state officials, seriously raising the salaries of those who remain in the civil service.

At some point, it turned out that all this was a facade behind which monstrous events were taking place. The group that was in power threw hundreds of oppositionists in jail, some were killed, any more or less effective business was subjected to raider seizures. The people lived in an atmosphere of oppressive fear, it was easy to pay for public criticism of Saakashvili with freedom. The Minister of Internal Affairs and Security Vano Merabishvili was called modern Beria.

All this collapsed in 2012, when the ruling United National Movement party suffered a crushing defeat in the parliamentary elections.

A colossal administrative resource and a lot of money did not help Saakashvili to retain power.

He was easily swept off the playing political board by the Georgian oligarch Bidzina Ivanishvili who burst into politics.

The Georgian president announced his resignation and left the country.

First, he settled in the United States, where he tried to teach at universities, but somehow it did not work out, and he moved to Ukraine.

Several criminal cases have been initiated against him in his homeland.

In 2015, Western curators decided to introduce into the Ukrainian leadership foreigners who carried out so-called democratic reforms in their countries.

Saakashvili, along with colleagues from the Baltic states and Poland, became a high-ranking Ukrainian official.

However, after some time, he began to be rude to the then president of Petro Poroshenko, and it came to absolute discord.

Poroshenko kicked Saakashili out of the country, but he returned, crossing the border without any permission, with the support of supporters.

Vladimir Zelensky, heading the country, decided to return the scandalous politician to power.

In 2020, he headed a fake office called the Executive Committee of the National Council for Reforms of Ukraine.

This department does not have any serious levers of influence and finance, but formally the ex-president of Georgia is registered in the first echelon of the Ukrainian bureaucratic apparatus.

A man of such a winding career has been repeatedly accused of substance abuse.

There is a video of his speech in Batumi together with the Georgian patriarch Ilia, where Saakashvili's eyes roll and he can hardly stand on his feet. I don't know if this is true or not, but this version has unexpected indirect confirmation. Our hero suddenly announced that back in 2014, the ex-head of the CIA, David Petraeus, handed him a strategy for capturing Donetsk by the Ukrainian armed forces. The politician stated that he was in New York State when he received an SMS from Petraeus. “He says: A, B, C, D - it’s written down the points, why now is a good time to enter Donetsk ... He says:“ Now the Ukrainians with these forces can take Donetsk, ”Saakashvili quoted Petraeus.

Much is unclear here. If in 2014 there was a favorable situation for the capture of the capital of the DPR, then why did the Ukrainian army not use it? Indeed, it was during this period that she made attempts to occupy Donetsk, waging desperate battles in the airport area. Or was it necessary to act strictly according to Petraeus's plan? The second point is the way of transmitting such important information. Saakashvili claims that the former CIA director shared his revelations with him using SMS. I can hardly provide a message over the phone, in which a certain strategy is detailed in detail. How big should such encryption be?

In general, all that has been said causes at least bewilderment, and if we speak more, it forces us to doubt again that Saakashvili's state of mind and mentality is within the normal range.

He was previously distinguished by a passion for strange and ridiculous statements, but in this case his statement already looks like a completely psychiatric case, which should be examined by specialized specialists who, I hope, will be able to provide the patient with qualified assistance.
