An Iraqi who has not slept in twenty years..15 minutes is the longest time (video)

About twenty years ago, the Iraqi citizen, Saad Naim Jabbar, was unable to sleep for more than 15 continuous minutes. Saad confirmed that the condition that accompanies him is due to something that happened to him during his service in the Iraqi army, but without mentioning any additional details about what happened to him.

Regarding the reasons for this strange situation, Saad's cousin, Muhammad, said in an interview with the "NRT Arabiya" and "Tif Post" platform, that Saad had an accident while working in the Iraqi army.

Muhammad pointed out that Saad has not been able to sleep normally for about twenty years, stressing that he does not sleep more than fifteen minutes continuously.

Muhammad noted that the family tried to treat him in various ways and means, including taking him to doctors and spiritualists as well, but to no avail.

Saad pointed out that some doctors who witnessed his condition told him that there is brain damage that leads to his inability to sleep continuously, while others said that the inability to sleep is due to a mental illness he suffers from.

Studies of cases similar to Saad's indicate that people who do not feel the desire to sleep at all have a condition called "Morven syndrome."

According to studies, this condition does not cause death to people who suffer from it, as it happens when normal people are deprived of sleep for ten consecutive days.

The researchers confirmed that people with this condition do not suffer from normal symptoms of lack of sleep, such as poor memory, cognitive abilities or focus.
