The Japan Meteorological Agency announced on the 19th that "Shikoku seems to have finished the rainy season," and the rainy season has ended in all regions of the country.

The temperature has risen from western Japan to northern Japan on the 19th, and there are places where it has already become a hot day of 35 degrees Celsius or higher, so caution is required for heat stroke.

Avoid going out as much as possible, and take measures such as frequent hydration and proper use of air conditioning.

It was sunny over a wide area from western Japan to northern Japan, and the Japan Meteorological Agency announced on the morning of the 19th that "the rainy season seems to have ended in Shikoku."

With this, the end of the rainy season has been announced in all areas except Hokkaido, where there is no rainy season.

The temperature rises rapidly and the maximum temperature until 11:30 am is 36.1 degrees in Daigo Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, 35.4 degrees in Obama City, Fukui Prefecture, 35.1 degrees in Date City, Fukushima Prefecture, and 35 degrees in Ashoro Town, Hokkaido. It's already a hot day.

In addition, it is 34.9 degrees in Fukushima city, 33.7 degrees in Nagoya city, 33.2 degrees in Osaka city, 32.9 degrees in central Tokyo, and 32.6 degrees in Sapporo city.

After this, the temperature continued to rise, and the maximum daytime temperatures were 37 degrees in Ichinoseki City, Iwate Prefecture, Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, Maebashi City, Kumagaya City, Saitama Prefecture, Toyooka City, Hyogo Prefecture, Yamagata City, Saitama City, Osaka City, and more. Extremely hot days are expected in a wide range, such as 36 degrees in Takamatsu city, 35 degrees in Obihiro city in Hokkaido, central Tokyo, and 35 degrees in Nagoya city.

Avoid going out as much as possible, rehydrate frequently, and be wary of heat stroke by using proper air conditioning indoors and taking a break by removing the mask when there is a sufficient distance from people outdoors.

Atmospheric instability mainly inland in the afternoon

On the other hand, the atmospheric condition is unstable mainly on the Pacific side of western Japan, and developed rain clouds are flowing into the southern part of Kyushu.

From now on, the atmospheric conditions are expected to become unstable nationwide, especially inland, and there is a risk of extremely heavy rain of 50 mm per hour accompanied by local lightning.

We call for careful attention to low land inundation, river flooding, sediment-related disasters, severe gusts such as lightning strikes and tornadoes, and "hail".

Even if it is sunny, the weather may change suddenly, and if there are signs that developed cumulonimbus clouds are approaching, such as a sudden strong cold wind, please try to ensure safety by moving to a sturdy building.
