A Saudi woman accused a young man from Menoufia of defrauding and seizing her money on the pretext of marrying her.
The victim said in the report, according to the newspaper, "Al-Masry Al-Youm", that she met a 19-year-old man from Menoufia Governorate on social media, and they agreed to marry, stressing that she sent him sums of money amounting to 500 thousand pounds to buy an apartment in Egypt to complete their marriage.
She added that she came to Egypt to start the marriage procedures, then she was surprised that he evaded her and refused to complete the marriage, as well as refusing to return the money he had received.
The security services had received a report from a Saudi woman accusing a young man residing in the Menoufia governorate of obtaining her money for two years with the aim of marrying, and she was surprised that he evaded her after she came to Menoufia to complete the agreement between them.
