The relatives of the actress noted that she passed away without suffering, surrounded by loved ones.
Pilar Bardem has worked in the creative industry for almost 50 years.
During this time, she has appeared in more than 80 films, 43 plays and 31 television series and won the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress for her work in No One Tells About Us When We Die.
Her children also dedicated themselves to acting: Javier Bardem won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in No Country for Old Men (2007).
