An event was held in Oshamambe Town, Hokkaido, to deepen children's understanding of the local industry through the specialty scallops.

This event, which was held on the 17th, was held by local volunteers with the cooperation of fishermen and others, and 14 elementary school students in the town participated.



The children were first taught about the ecology of scallops and the methods of aquaculture in the local eruption bay.

After this, I experienced cooking help and ate scallops baked with soy sauce and butter deliciously.



A third grade girl who participated said, "I'm glad I should have studied a lot about scallops."
