Mark Hamill and Lupita Nyong'o have been honored at the 48th Daytime Emmy Awards, the most important American TV awards.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) presented the awards in the children and animation categories on Saturday evening.

Hamill, known as Luke Skywalker in the

Star Wars

movies, won an Emmy for his role in

Elena of Avalor

, a preschooler's animation program on Disney Channel. Nyong'o, who can be seen in

Black Panther

, received an award for her role as the narrator in the Netflix production

. Other Emmys have included the US version of

Sesame Street

and the cartoon film

In June, NATAS had previously awarded a number of Emmys. The last part of the prize circus will take place on Sunday evening, when the awards for fiction and lifestyle will be handed out. In this, Dutch actor Gijs Blom has a chance for his role in the Netflix series
