On the same day, the latest batch of approximately 860,000 doses of Fubitai vaccine arrived in Hong Kong.

  The two new confirmed cases involved a 75-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman who arrived in Hong Kong from the United States and Bangladesh.

So far, the total number of confirmed cases in Hong Kong has increased to 11,958.

  The Hong Kong Hospital Authority announced that a total of 11,682 confirmed or suspected patients have recovered and discharged so far.

There are still 29 confirmed patients in hospital, of which one is in serious condition and the remaining 28 are in stable condition.

  The Secretary for Civil Service of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Nie Dequan, met with the media after attending a radio program and said that the Special Administrative Region Government will always maintain close contact with pharmaceutical factories and make appropriate arrangements for the delivery time of Fubitai vaccine to Hong Kong, hoping to make every effort to ensure that the vaccine supply will not be Interrupted.

He believes that the most important thing at the moment is that citizens should be vaccinated as soon as possible, and strive to get the first dose before the end of August, so that the entire society can establish a protective barrier as soon as possible.
