On July 18, Soviet and Russian singer Lyubov Kazarnovskaya celebrates her 65th birthday. While still a student, she was a soloist at the Bolshoi Theater and won first places in international competitions for vocalists. In the Kirov Theater (now the Mariinsky Theater), in three years she sang all the main soprano parts that were in the repertoire. Kazarnovskaya also performed at La Scala, Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden, collaborated with Valery Gergiev, Evgeny Kolobov, Franco Zeffirelli, Daniel Barenboim. In addition, the artist is actively involved in social activities, heads a charitable foundation and supports young performers.
