Ibaraki Prefecture and Mito City announced on the 17th that it was confirmed that 45 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
Eight more people than Saturday a week ago, and 17 days in a row, surpassing the same day of the previous week.
A total of 11,083 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
