In the case where a former professor of Kinki University School of Medicine was arrested for deceiving cash from the university, the former professor fictitiously charged the inspection fee for bacteria etc. to be carried out with the judicial autopsy, and deceived about 51 million yen from the Osaka Prefectural Police I was re-arrested as a professor.

The Osaka Prefectural Police said that it did not affect the results of the judicial autopsy and "want to prevent recurrence."

The person who was re-arrested was Shinji Tatsumi (66), a former professor of the Department of Forensic Medicine, Kinki University School of Medicine.



According to the police, the former professor conducted a judicial autopsy of the body to investigate the cause of death and the presence of incidents at the request of the police for about 6 years until the middle of March, and inspected for bacteria and poisons associated with it. There is a suspicion that the Osaka Prefectural Police deceived more than 51 million yen by making a fictitious request such as creating a false report even though it was not actually carried out.



Police have not disclosed their approval or disapproval.



The inspection fee is paid by the national government, and it means that the one claimed was found even though there was no evidence that the inspection was carried out.



The Osaka Prefectural Police said that there was no effect on the results of the judicial autopsy and the investigation of the case at this time, and said, "I regret that such an incident occurred and I would like to try to prevent recurrence."



The former professor has been charged with deceiving more than 39 million yen from the university by pretending to have purchased medical supplies.
