Okinawa Prefecture announced on the 16th that it was confirmed that 76 new people were infected with the new coronavirus.
The number has increased by 21 compared to last Friday, surpassing the same day of the previous week for four consecutive days.
This brings the total number of infected people confirmed in the prefecture to 21,661.
