On July 15, short-term heavy precipitation occurred in Zhungeer Banner, Ordos City, waterlogging occurred in many parts of the town, and some people and vehicles were trapped.
After receiving the police, the local fire rescue station quickly rushed to the scene to rescue more than 20 people who were trapped.
At about 18:00 that day, a sudden short-term heavy rainfall caused water in the road area. The precipitation exceeded 50 mm, and the depth of the water was about 1.4 meters, reaching the waist of an adult. A bus was trapped in the water with 12 Passengers.
In order to rescue the trapped people in a timely and safe manner, firefighters and soldiers walked into the waist-deep water to evacuate and transfer the trapped people.
At the rescue scene, the commanders and fighters comforted the trapped people while quickly organizing the evacuation of the personnel. When they encountered the elderly and children with mobility impairments, they used their backs or hugs.
In the end, they transferred all 20 passengers to safety.
