On July 14, 2021 local time, Wellington, New Zealand, a lost killer whale cub, suspected to have separated from the whale group, stranded alone on a nearby beach.

To help this baby killer whale, about 4 to 6 months old, get out of trouble, the New Zealand government has mobilized the nation's coastal areas to help it find its mother and whales as soon as possible.

According to reports, this killer whale was named "Toya" by local residents. It means "warrior" in Maori and is about 2.5 meters in length.
