On the night of the 14th, there was a billiard accident involving a total of five trucks and passenger cars on the Chuo Expressway in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, killing two men in the passenger cars and injuring three others.

Around 9:15 pm on the 14th, a truck collided with a passenger car that had stopped in the driving lane due to traffic congestion on the down line of the Chuo Expressway in Koshu City, Yamanashi Prefecture. There was a entangled rear-end collision.



According to police, two of the three men in the first rear-end collision car were killed in the accident, one was seriously injured with a broken hip, and two were in another vehicle. It means that people also suffered minor injuries such as bruising.



Police are rushing to confirm the identities of the two dead and are investigating the detailed cause of the accident by hearing from a 25-year-old man in Fukushima Prefecture who was driving the truck that first collided with a passenger car.



Due to this accident, the down line of the Chuo Expressway was closed between Otsuki Junction and Katsunuma Interchange from around 9:40 pm on the 14th, but it was lifted earlier.
