On Monday, the UN presented a report warning of the sharp increase in hunger in the world.

The Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdowns as well as the rise in the price of certain foodstuffs that it has caused has exacerbated this situation.

The report also indicates that hunger is growing faster in Africa than elsewhere in the world.

Dominique Burgeon, director in Geneva of the office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is the guest of RFI.
