In just 24 hours, 1.7 million slots have been reserved on Doctolib for vaccination against Covid-19.
A craze that has helped to saturate the platform for medical appointments after the speech by Emanuel Macron.
Invited from Europe 1, the CEO of Doctolib assures us that they were ready and still are for the weeks to come.

In the wake of the presidential address, during which Emmanuel Macron announced the compulsory vaccination for caregivers and the extension of the health pass, the appointment booking exploded.
On the Doctolib platform, "1.7 million French people have reserved a slot since last night (Monday evening, editor's note)", specifies on Europe 1 Stanislas Niox-Chateau, CEO of Doctolib.
"It is four times more than the last record of May 11", he adds, evoking a very strong enthusiasm following the announcements of the Head of State.
In total, "900,000 French people made their appointment last night, and the enthusiasm continued this morning (Tuesday morning, editor's note)."

"A waiting list like for ticketing sites"
"We were ready," says Stanislas Niox-Chateau, while a waiting list had been developed to deal with mass connections.
"A waiting list as for ticketing sites, which we had to set up since there were millions of connections per minute at the time of the speech," explains the CEO of Doctolib.
"We are ready to give it back if we need it. After that, we have managed 50 million vaccination appointments since the start of the campaign, we were ready for this influx."
"You will have appointments in the days to come"
Regarding the profile of patients who have made these appointments, Stanislas Niox-Chateau affirms that "two thirds of these 1.7 million are under 35 years old". And about the geographical distribution, the latter adds that "all French people, in all regions have been mobilized since last night, 8 pm".
What situation can you expect in the coming days? Very difficult to predict, answers Stanislas Niox-Chateau. "But there is still available on Doctolib, and the centers will continue to put slots online", he assures us. "If you are not among the 38 million French people who are already vaccinated, or who have made an appointment, do not worry: you will have appointments in the days to come", continues the general manager of the platform, adding that the addition of time slots for making appointments will continue at a sustained level,
