According to the monitoring of the Chongqing Municipal Hydrological Monitoring Station, from 8 am on the 12th to 8 am on the 13th, there were light to moderate rains and local heavy rains in parts of Chongqing.

The maximum daily rainfall occurred in Huanggu Village, Wuyang Town, Zhong County, which was 47.5 mm.

Affected by the upstream water and rainfall, 2 small and medium rivers in Chongqing have exceeded the warning water level twice at 2 stations, and one of them has exceeded the guaranteed water level once at 1 station.

The Dai Exi Xianglong Station in Hechuan District exceeded the guaranteed water level by 6.29 meters; the Heishuitan River Fuxing Station in Beibei District exceeded the warning water level by 0.98 meters.

At present, the water level at Xianglong Station is falling, but it is still 2.21 meters above the guaranteed water level, and Fuxing Station has fallen below the warning water level.

22 small and medium-sized rivers, including Yulin River in Yubei District and Yujiang River in Pengshui County, experienced a process of 1 meter to 6 meters high water level, and the highest water level did not exceed the warning level.

On July 11, the Jialing River's No. 1 flood of 2021 was formally formed in Qujiang, a tributary of the Jialing River.

According to the monitoring and analysis by the Hydrological Bureau of the Upper Yangtze River, the highest water level of 205.9 meters appeared at the Dongjintuo Station on the Jialing River at 21:00 on the 12th, which was 0.6 meters below the warning water level.

The highest water level at Beibei (3) Station on the Jialing River was 194.66 meters at 21:00 on the 12th, which was 1.43 meters below the warning water level.

The highest water level at Ciqikou Station on the Jialing River was 182.48 meters at 0:00 on the 13th, which was 0.16 meters below the warning water level.

The highest water level at Cuntan Station of the Yangtze River was 176 meters at 3:40 on the 13th, which was 4.5 meters below the warning water level.

The Chongqing Municipal Hydrological Monitoring Station predicts that from 8 am on the 13th to 8 am on the 14th, the water potential of small and medium-sized rivers in Chongqing is basically stable, and there is no obvious water increase process.

Attention should be paid to the transit floods of the Jialing River and the Yangtze River.
