Okayama City announced that it has been confirmed that six new people have been infected with the new coronavirus.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in Okayama Prefecture to 7,628.
Okayama Prefecture also announced that an elderly patient had died.
As a result, 127 people have died after being infected with the new coronavirus in Okayama prefecture.
