  Chen Yushu, now the president of the Hong Kong Classical Furniture Association, was born in Putian, Fujian, and is the fourth-generation heir of the classic furniture craftsmanship in Fujian Province.

"My ancestors went to make boats, and I played in the shipbuilding workshops where I used to draw lines, saw and axe, hack, and drill. From an early age, I followed my family to learn craftsmanship.   Chen Yushu suggested that Hong Kong can strengthen the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area regional linkage in the future, expand the cultural consumption market space, make use of Hong Kong's role as an international exhibition platform, strengthen cultural interaction, project cooperation and trade exchanges with countries along the "Belt and Road", and deepen Chinese traditions.
