On the 13th, it was confirmed that 60 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in Hokkaido.
Of these, 39 were confirmed in Sapporo, 18 in Hokkaido, 2 in Hakodate, and 1 in Asahikawa.
Asahikawa City also announced that a woman in her 80s died on the 12th.
This brings the total number of infected people in Hokkaido to 41,935, of which 1413 have died.
