Corona official in Jordan: There is no need to kiss during Eid
The Secretary-General of the Jordanian Ministry of Health, the official responsible for the Corona file, Adel Al-Balbisi, called on his citizens to adhere to health and preventive precautions during the Eid holiday, and demanded them to “preserve the muzzle and distance, and there is no need for peace by embracing (hugs) and kissing is enough peace from afar.”
In his intervention on Jordanian television, Al-Balbisi assured the citizens that there will be no closures or decisions to reduce the ban during Eid Al-Adha, pointing out that the decision depends on the epidemiological situation in Jordan.
He added that "the holiday is coming and people are on the move, and there must be a commitment to public safety measures," calling on citizens to maintain the procedures during the holiday "so that we do not enter into a new wave after the holiday."
