Affected by the continuous rainfall, on July 11, a mountain flood occurred in Caohe Village, Nanling Township, Zezhou County, Jincheng City, Shanxi Province, causing many houses to be destroyed by the flood.
On the evening of July 11, officers and soldiers of the Jincheng Detachment of the Armed Police Shanxi Corps rushed to the disaster-stricken area with rescue equipment such as jacks, assault boats, and kayaks.
The situation at the disaster site is complicated and rescue operations are difficult due to rainfall and stagnant water and river flooding.
After fighting day and night, armed police officers and soldiers rushed to repair 5 kilometers of roads.
As of 17:00 on the 12th, rescue is still ongoing.
