Peng Chao: "The effort finally paid off"

　　On July 9, Peng Chao, an armless guy from Panzhihua, received the admission notice for master's degree from Tongji University. For this reason, he specially made a small video to record the important moments of the admission notice "out of the box".

In the video, he couldn't hide his excitement: "This moment is exciting, and the hard work last year has finally paid off."

　　Admitted to graduate school after two years of work

　　Due to an electric shock accident, Peng Chao lost his arms when he was 6 years old. Through arduous training, he learned to use his feet instead of his hands.

In 2015, he was admitted to the Law School of Sichuan University with a score of 603.

When he enrolled, he once said: "The university's study plan is very clear, which is the postgraduate entrance examination."

　　After graduating from university, Peng Chao worked while preparing for the exam.

At that time, he was a lecturer in a training institution, and his main job was to give lectures in various primary and middle schools.

But since last year, he spent most of his time preparing for the exam.

"Compared to the college entrance examination, the postgraduate entrance examination is one person fighting." He recalled that at that time, he often read books from morning to night, and he had to review more than 10 hours a day.

　　Peng Chao said that the biggest difficulty in the examination process is the lack of time.

Because the exam requires writing a lot of words, this is a challenge for him.

　　According to Peng Chao's recollection, on March 27 this year, when he was participating in the re-examination for graduate students of Tongji University, the school also found a low table for him to write and answer questions.

On the afternoon of March 28th, he passed the interview successfully. On March 29th, he was successfully admitted to the Law School of Tongji University because his preliminary examination, written examination and interview results reached the admission score of the Law School.

"After working for two years, I can return to campus again this year, Tongji University, wait for me!" After learning the results, he posted a circle of friends.

　　Plan to study for PhD in the future

　　On July 9, Peng Chao received the admission notice of Tongji University as he wished. He specially made a small video to record this important moment.

"I finally got the admission letter today, go home and take a look at it," he said.

　　In the video, Peng Chao hurried upstairs, took out the key and opened the door with his feet.

Sitting in front of the sofa, he opened the courier bag with a knife with his feet, took out the admission notice and began to introduce: "I am excited at this moment. It contains the admission notice of Tongji University master's degree and my campus card."

　　In front of the camera, Peng Chao opened the admission notice and read it: "Peng Chao, with the approval of the principal, you are admitted as a graduate student with a 2021 professional degree in Tongji. Please bring this notice to Shanghai on August 29, 2021. Check in with Tongji University on Siping Road."

　　Peng Chao said that after being admitted to graduate school, his hard work last year finally paid off.

In a previous interview, he responded to why he wanted to take the Tongji exam: "I always wanted to go to a coastal city to take a look." In his plan, he will continue to study for a Ph.D. after graduating from graduate school.
