US shock rocker Marilyn Manson (52) faced the authorities after allegations of bodily harm in a performance in 2019.
The police in Gilford (US state New Hampshire) announced in May that there was an arrest warrant against the musician.
Manson had made an appearance in Los Angeles last week, said Gilford police chief Bean Burpee on Thursday to USA Today newspaper and other US media.
The musician was released on bail.
The case is due to go to trial in New Hampshire in August.
The warrant goes back to an incident with a camerawoman at a concert by the rocker in Gilford in August 2019. According to US media reports, the rocker is said to have spat on a film camera at the concert. TMZ.com posted a short video of a spitting incident. In an interview with “People” magazine, three concertgoers described that a camerawoman had been spat at several times. Manson's attorney Howard King described the allegations as "ridiculous" in May. It is known that Manson likes to provoke on stage, "especially in front of the camera," said King.
Several women have filed allegations or complaints against Manson of sexual or physical violence in the past few months.
