China News Service, Shenyang, July 6 (Wang Jingwei) On July 6, the Shenyang Public Security Bureau announced that the Shenyang police successfully destroyed a criminal gang selling guns online, arrested 10 criminal suspects, and confiscated them. There are 26 guns and 54 bullets.
On February 24, 2021, the Hunnan Branch of the Public Security Bureau of Shenyang City found clues in a special operation to combat gun explosion crimes. Through tracing the root cause and digging deeply along the lines, they discovered a huge network of gun dealers headed by the suspect Xiong Moumou. Gang, the gang members are distributed in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Liaoning, Heilongjiang, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Henan, Hebei and other provinces and cities.
In order to get rid of the criminal gang in one fell swoop, the police set up a task force to carry out investigation work.
Starting from June 1, 2021, the task force has carried out network collection operations in multiple locations across the country based on the clues it has mastered.
After continuous work, the task force successively captured all 10 key members of the gang, and seized 1 single-barreled long-barreled shotgun and 19 shots of shotgun ammunition at the residence of the suspect, Shen Moumou, and 35 shots of other types of ammunition. Three pieces; 25 gas-powered guns were seized on the spot at the home of the suspect Wang Moumou in a community in Chaoyang District, Beijing.
At present, 10 criminal suspects including Xiong Moumou, Shen Moumou and Wang Moumou have been taken criminal coercive measures by the police in accordance with the law for suspected crimes of illegal trading of guns and ammunition, and the case is being further processed.
