Nara Prefecture and Nara City announced on the 6th that it was confirmed that 11 new people were infected with the new coronavirus in the prefecture.
The prefecture also announced the death of a man in his 70s in Ikoma City.
The man was confirmed dead at home, and was confirmed to be infected by tests five days later.
8260 people have been confirmed infected in the prefecture.
The number of people who died is 132.
