On July 6, the media reported that actress Vera Alentova, hospitalized at the end of June due to coronavirus infection, was admitted to intensive care.

According to Channel Five, Alentova had gotten better earlier, and she was transferred to a regular ward, but soon the artist's condition worsened again.

The Moscow Drama Theater named after Pushkin denied this information.

"Vera Alentova is not in intensive care, this was said today by the artistic director Yevgeny Alexandrovich Pisarev," RIA Novosti quotes a representative of the theater. 

Later, the daughter of the actress Yulia Menshova said on her Instagram page that Vera Alentova had returned home. 

A day earlier, on July 5, the artist's husband, Soviet and Russian director and actor Vladimir Menshov, died from the effects of the coronavirus.

He was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia and the third stage of respiratory failure.

The farewell ceremony for the filmmaker will be held at the Cinema House on July 8.

Musician, founder and head of the Doctor Watson show group Georgy Mamikonov died of coronavirus on June 28.

He spent over two weeks in the hospital.

According to the press secretary of the band Vera Voronina, the artist "began atrial fibrillation, that is, the heart has ceased to withstand."

At the end of June, actress Natalya Smirnova, who played roles in such popular projects as Happy Together, Trace and Mermaid, died of coronavirus infection. Also, the disease claimed the lives of actress Lyubov Omelchenko, known for her roles in the films "Boomer: The Second Film", "Soldiers", "Witch Doctor", and clip maker Vadim Shatrov. The latter worked with MakSim, Dmitry Malikov, the "Splin" group and other artists.

The singer MakSim (Marina Abrosimova) herself has been in an artificial coma for more than two weeks and breathes with the help of a ventilator.

The artist was hospitalized with pneumonia with severe lung damage and a low level of oxygen saturation in the blood.

At the same time, according to the representative of Abrosimova, the tests she made for coronavirus showed a negative result.

The state of the artist remains unchanged, the doctors have no plans to disconnect her from the apparatus yet.

For at least a week, actor and musician Pyotr Mamonov has been in intensive care.

According to the artist's wife Olga, he is connected to a ventilator, and his condition is assessed as extremely serious.

At the moment, doctors refuse to make any predictions.
