Recently, the coastal waters of Qingdao, Shandong Province were attacked by Enteromorpha again. This is also the 15th consecutive year that the Enteromorpha disaster has affected Qingdao.

According to the monitoring of the North Sea Forecast Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the scale of the Enteromorpha disaster in the Yellow Sea has reached a historical maximum.

Qingdao City has launched the “Emergency Treatment for Salvage Enteromorpha in the Inshore Waters” project to ensure that Enteromorpha enteromorpha will not go ashore, and will not go ashore, to minimize the impact of the disaster.

  At present, Qingdao has dispatched more than 7,300 ships and salvaged about 240,000 tons of Enteromorpha.

According to the monitoring of the Beihai Forecast Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, the impact of Enteromorpha green tide disaster on Qingdao in 2021 will continue until mid-August.
