Mimi Jamal ends her retirement from art: instead of sitting at home
The Egyptian artist, Mimi Gamal, decided to return to the world of art after years of retirement, and justified the reason, saying: "After my circumstances improved a little, and my daughters are each in her home, I found that it is possible to work instead of sitting at home alone with nothing because I love acting from my childhood."
She explained to the "Massa DMC" program, that during the last period, she was shown a series and "after I saw it, I had no objection, but my role in the series is not the appropriate role that I will return to," adding: "I want to come back in need of better... and the series is good, But I am waiting for a better chance than this one.”
And she continued, “I do not want to embody a certain character because I have embodied many characters, so I want to have a more influential role in the series, and be present at the heart of the matter.”
