Li Xuejian: CCTV recently planned a special program "Revisiting the Filming Road". My performances of "Jiao Yulu" and "Yang Shanzhou" were all included in it.
It is very meaningful to retake the road of filming these films and to retake the road that these heroes have traveled.
I have just returned from Shidian County, Baoshan City, Yunnan, and went to the old secretary Yang Shanzhou’s hometown, Shanzhou Forest Farm, and Youwang Ancient Town, and other places to revisit every bit of the filming of "Yang Shanzhou" that year.
Going to the filming location again, the most exciting and shocking thing is the current changes: "Jiao Yulu" was filmed more than 30 years ago, "Yang Shanzhou" was filmed 10 years ago, I went back there and found the rapid development and change. Big, it was earth-shaking.
To celebrate the centenary of the party, Jiao Yulu and Yang Shanzhou must also commemorate the noble character of Jiao Yulu and Yang Shanzhou, who insisted on the selfless dedication of Communist Party members, devoted their lives to the cause of the party, and cared about the masses.
Beiqing Daily: Do you remember the process of joining the party?
Li Xuejian: I graduated from middle school in 1970 and went to an electronics factory in Guizhou; I enlisted in the army at the end of 1972 and became a soldier of the Second Artillery Corps in Yunnan, now called the Rocket Army.
In 1973, I joined the Chinese Communist Youth League and began to learn the knowledge of the party, including the "Communist Manifesto" and "On the Cultivation of Communists".
It was an era of learning heroes and striving to be heroes. In 1974, I became a reserve party member; on March 8, 1975, I officially joined the Communist Party of China.

Li Xuejian: The day of joining the party was International Women's Day on March 8. After I took the oath, the first thing I did was to send a telegram to my mother as soon as possible-she was an old party member.
I told her that I had officially become a member of the Chinese Communist Party.

Actor is my profession, and I have another identity, that is, a member of the Communist Party.
Therefore, I must be a qualified party member as well as a qualified actor.
Actors are literary and artistic workers and engineers of the soul, who must provide spiritual food for the audience.
As an actor, I must complete the creation of the role, work hard for the role, and endure hardship first.
Every character, no matter how big or small, has to ask himself if he has tried his best.
The happiest thing in the profession of an actor is the creative process. Acting one person is like living one person, and acting a hundred people is like living a hundred times. The process of living is the happiest.
I started to be an amateur actor in 1968 and became a professional actor in 1977. I have experienced the development of China's film and television industry.

Li Xuejian: On the one hand, I was greatly influenced by the role of Communist Party members in works of art such as movies, dances, and Peking opera; on the other hand, in my career, there are two stories that I deeply remember: the first story happened Around 1975, when I was a soldier in Yunnan, a soldier acrobatics troupe came to show condolences.
On that day, the army allowed us to carry the melon seeds and peanuts we planted so that we could eat melon seeds and peanuts while watching the show.
However, the conditions of the performance were very poor. The camp was in the ravine and the stage was by the river. It was built with stones, and the wind was beyond imagination.
When a female soldier was performing a high platform bicycle, she was blown off by the wind. The soldiers hurriedly pulled the safety rope. Although it played a little role, the eldest sister fell.
The eldest sister took the tea mug we handed over, took a sip of water, and spit out red blood; rinsed again, it was still red.
We were about to send her to the hospital immediately, but she pushed everyone away, returned to the stage, and finished the show again before she was sent to the health team.
The soldiers watched the jeep go far, the queue was so quiet that there was no sound, and many soldiers were crying silently.

For a long time, I thought about the answer given by this elder sister.
Another time was when the movie "Jiao Yulu" was awarded, Mr. Sun Daolin presented the award.
I heard that he liked "Jiao Yulu" very much, so I wrote him a letter.
He quickly replied and wrote in the letter: "Looking at your acting Jiao Yulu, I think you have a very detailed idea, expressing the thoughts and feelings of the characters in different situations, you can see your skills and skills. But I think it is more important. It is you who commanded your design and skills with your own sincerity and your whole soul, so that you can shock people and convey such a pure and selfless state. We also had psychological baggage when we filmed "Jiao Yulu" more than 30 years ago. At that time, the economy began to develop rapidly and popular culture was emerging.
At that time, I thought that this movie might only be watched by party members. Unexpectedly, there was an upsurge in watching movies after it was released.
This shows that the times are calling for the spirit of Jiao Yulu, and the people are calling for the spirit of Jiao Yulu.
Today, the main theme movies are already in full swing, with a box office of billions of dollars at every turn.
The development of Chinese film is so good, we must keep a clear head, and move the film and television culture from the plateau to the peak, from the film power to the film power.

Li Xuejian: I want to play Nan Rendong, the "Father of Sky Eyes". I really like this scientist who spent 22 years creating a super sky eye for China and looking into the universe; I also want to play Huang Dafa, who is known as the "Contemporary Fool" "In 36 years, a "life canal" with a length of 9,400 meters and spanning three villages was cut out on the cliff.
