Israeli newspapers and news websites published a new picture of the US President during his reception at the White House, last Monday, with his outgoing Israeli counterpart Rivlin, and his chief of staff, Ravitz.
The photo showed Biden bent on his knee in front of Rivka Ravitz, the Israeli president's chief of staff, who belongs to the ultra-Orthodox Jewish sect.
And the picture spread quickly among Americans on the media, with many commenting on the picture as “Picture of the Week.”
Israeli media reported that Rivlin told Biden that Ravitz was the mother of 12 children, so Biden only bowed in appreciation of her.
