Water and salt instead of the "Corona" vaccine... An investigation into a fraud that affected thousands in India

The American newspaper, “The New York Times”, revealed that the police in India are investigating a fraud against thousands of people, as they received doses of water and salt instead of doses of Corona vaccines.

In its report, the newspaper said, security officials are investigating allegations that thousands of people were injected with fake vaccines in India's financial capital, Mumbai.

Police have arrested 14 people on suspicion of involvement in a scheme in which saline water is being injected in place of vaccine doses at nearly a dozen private vaccination sites in Mumbai over the past two months.

Scammers including medical professionals (including doctors and nurses), allegedly sold vaccine doses for between $10 and $17 a dose, according to authorities, who said they confiscated more than $20,000 from the suspects.
