Recently, Wang Gentao, a 92-year-old veteran of the Korean War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and his daughter who had been separated for 57 years were finally reunited in Shanghai.

In 1964, Wang Gentao and his wife separated from their youngest daughter for various reasons.

For decades, Wang Gentao has never given up on searching.

This time, there was news from the Henan Family Searching Group that there was information on the date of delivery of a Ms. Lu, and other information, which was more consistent with the information of the youngest daughter of Wang Lao.

After receiving the news, the Wang and Lao family were both pleasantly surprised and apprehensive. After all, there was no direct proof of the age, and the two sides did not dare to rush to recognize each other.

So they thought of asking the police for help. After a technical appraisal by the Criminal Investigation Corps of Shanghai Jiading, it was confirmed that Ms. Lu was the youngest daughter of Wang Gentao who had been separated for 57 years.
