On the afternoon of July 3, the Huangshan South Gate Police Station of the Public Security Bureau of Huangshan Scenic Area in Anhui received a call from people in the area asking for help: a green snake sneaked into the supermarket and asked for help in arresting it.
The police immediately contacted the fire department and went to the scene. After some searches, a green snake was found at the bottom of the refrigerator in the supermarket. After careful observation, the police confirmed that the green snake was a bamboo leaf green snake, which was highly venomous and was about 1 meter long.
The police and firefighters cooperated closely. The two firefighters took personal protection and prepared snake catchers. At the same time, the police evacuated the crowd of onlookers outside.
Due to the narrow space between the refrigerator, a firefighter used a snake trap to clamp the snake's seven-inch position to prevent it from escaping, and immediately put it into a bag and sealed it. It took only 5 minutes to capture the green snake.
In order to ensure the safety of the people in the jurisdiction and to protect the life of this green bamboo leaf snake, the green bamboo leaf snake has been released back into the mountains.
