The American Statue of Liberty is blessed with a son standing next to it!

A scale model of the famous Statue of Liberty has arrived at Ellis Island in New York Harbor after completing the same journey the original statue had taken more than a century ago, and was placed not far from him on the island in New York Harbor.

The statue is 2.8 meters high and began its journey from France to the United States on the back of an open-top truck.

Yesterday, workers removed the plastic covering to protect the statue on its transatlantic journey.

Ellis Island will not be the permanent location of the statue, as the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Paris loaned it to the United States for 10 years in a gesture aimed at strengthening friendship between the two countries.

"It is a symbol of friendship between the French and American peoples, and a reminder of the importance of the message of freedom and enlightenment in the world," said Philippe Etienne, France's ambassador to the United States, during the inauguration ceremony of the statue.

The original Statue of Liberty is 93 meters tall, including the base, and was gifted by France to the United States.

It was assembled in 1886 and has been atop Liberty Island in New York Harbor ever since.

The statue is made of bronze and weighs 450 kilograms, a copy of the original statue made by Frederic Auguste Bartholdi.

It will be shown on Ellis Island from July 1 to 6, then it will be in New York during the Independence Day celebrations on the fourth of the month, and then it will be transferred to Washington.

"We saw the importance of bringing together the younger and older brothers, especially on the Fourth of July," Etienne said.

Then on July 14, which is our National Day on Bastille Day, it will be inaugurated again, but in Washington.”
