An American threatens to blow up McDonald's over chicken sauce

An American man, who was deeply disturbed by not eating the sauce with the chicken pieces he ordered from the "McDonald's" restaurant chain, threatened to blow up the branch he ordered with a bomb.

Police said Robert Gollwitzer Jr., after discovering his sauce was missing from his order, called the restaurant and threatened the staff.

Among those alleged threats, the man threatened to beat the employee, but also went on to threaten to blow up the restaurant.

And all for the sake of a small saucepan.

McDonald's reported the bomb threat to authorities, and police arrested Gollwitzer Jr. in Iowa on Saturday, June 29.

The 42-year-old was accused of making a "false threat to place explosive or incendiary devices", a criminal offense in the country.

Gollwitzer Jr. stayed in prison overnight and was released on bail the next day.
